To help make your visit to Sposa as pleasant as possible, please consider the following recommendations before trying on wedding and bridesmaid dresses:
| » |
Please come free of any make-up, perfumes and self-tanners. |
| » |
Bring a strapless or similar wedding day bra to wear. |
| » |
Bring shoes which are approximately the same size you will wear on the wedding day. |
| » |
You are more than welcome to bring a camera with you to Sposa to take pictures of you wearing the gowns you like best. |
| » |
As a rule, wedding dresses run small. Be prepared to purchase a dress in a size or two larger than your normal clothing size. |
| » |
Come with an open mind! It is helpful to bring pictures of dresses you like, but be willing to try on other styles. Sometimes a dress you love in a magazine will not be the one for you. |
| » |
Let us help you find a style that best suits your figure, your personality and the look of your wedding. Our bridal consultants have done this many times before! |
| » |
It is helpful to bring a family member or friend along for a second opinion. However, too many opinions can result in confusion and an unhappy bride-to-be. You will know which dresses you love best. When you’ve narrowed it down to one or two, then feel free to show family and friends. |

Sposa sells designer gowns directly off-the-rack and by special order. If you are special ordering a gown, please ensure we have at least 6 – 8 weeks for your dress to be delivered. We encourage you to shop early enough that you can have your dress at least two months before your wedding day – ensuring you plenty of time for alterations. |
